Fallout 4 Permadeath Roleplay - First Try (Part 1)

Part 1: The Beginning

I woke up from what turned out to be a cryogenic sleep. They lied to us. What else could I expect? But everything happened so fast and what choice did I have? If I hadn't entered the cell, chances are they would kill me. I saw the dead body of my spouse. I was very angry and anxious but I realized that they still had Shaun and I rushed out to the exit. I soon realized that I was the only one left.

Skeletons of dead people lying around everywhere. How much time passed? The computer logs showed me a grim fact: at least 180 days passed since I was frozen. Then what? Could I exit the vault? Was the surface too irradiated? I sat for hours in indecision, but I realized that all  supplies were gone and my only option was to exit this fallout shelter. I found a pip boy along the way. Very useful indeed! Vault-tec might have been evil, but their scientists are brilliant minds!

So basically my character is a sniper build with high perception and agility and 6 points in intelligence(because my character is a smart guy). He is weak and can die fast if I am not careful, but I don't plan to charge in to enemies. I will try to master the art of high range combat and stealth. For immersion purpose I did not pick any guns or ammo or even stim packs, because he doesn't know what kind of world he is dealing with yet. I will return to the vault when I realize the dangers of the outside world. I will not loot dead people's bodies(except for stimpacks) before a first serious encounter either.
