Fallout 4 Permadeath Roleplay - First Try (Part 7 - Final)

Part 7: Road of Revenge

Detective Valentine was held hostage in an old vault located in a subway station. When I entered there I had to fight myself through thugs dressed in fancy pre-war cloth. Valentine was not a man, but a synth, or a cyborg. He offered me his help.

The clues that I gave him fitted to a mercenary who used to live in Diamond City . The luck was on our side: I could bribe a blonde chick in mayors office, she gave me the keys to Kelloggs appartment. We found a hidden room there. In this room there were cigars with Kelloggs DNA on them. Fortunately, Dogmeat had the proper training to track this man.

Our road led us to Fort Hagen, the place where Kellogg lived. It was heavily guarded by synths but thanks to my power armor I could plow myself through them without any complications. When Kellogg lost his last guard, he finally agreed to talk, but there was nothing to talk about - the rage boiled in me and so I took him by surprise and opened up fire before he knew what was coming. Lucky for me - there was a terminal in his room, in which I found evidence that he sold Shaun to the Institute. I got through so much trouble, only to find out that my son was captured by probably the strongest faction in post-war America.

--------------------------------------------
Hooray! I fulfilled the victory condition. To be honest, I expected it to be much harder than it actually was. Not a single death! Well, death would mean death, so I gave my best.
To do a little recap of what I did in the final part. The rescue of Valentine was super easy. I just killed every guard one by one with my rifle and upgraded pistol(advanced receiver makes a HUGE difference). Then, when I confronted that fat-ass, whose name I forgot, I just threw a molotow at him and his two companions, and finished him off in VATS while he was taking fire damage aswell. This same trick helped me with Kellogg. I threw a molotow cocktail at him before he could do anything. I didn't even talk to him. That helped a lot. I instantly switched in to VATS and gave him between 5 and 7 bullets. At the same time the molotow was sucking out his health, so he didn't really stand a chance. The remaining synth guards were easy.
